Twitter is in shambles after Elon Musk sent an email issuing every employee an ultimatum, urging them to join his “extremely hardcore” Twitter 2.0, or quit. A large percentage of the workforce has chosen the latter, and reports of chaos within the social media giant are rampant, with the hashtag "RIP Twitter" trending.
What I’m hearing from Twitter employees; It looks like roughly 75% of the remaining 3,700ish Twitter employees have not opted to stay after the “hardcore” email.

The Space Karen meme was popularized back in 2020, when Elon tweeted to complain about inconsistency in his Covid rapid test results. An Epigeneticist responded to that tweet, explaining how the tests worked, and using the term. Since then, it has felt like the most appropriate way to describe the world’s richest thin skinned man, and it's a nickname he will never live down.
