The only thing worse than airplane food? Your entire flight getting canceled due to someone taking a massive dump on the aircraft floor.

That’s the lesson several travelers aboard a recent easyJet flight from Spain’s Tenerife island to London discovered the hard way on Sunday evening after one passenger proceeded to lose control of their bowels all over the bathroom.

The accident added yet another layer of complications to the already-delayed flight, stinking up the entire cabin. The stench was so overwhelming that the flight was ultimately canceled.

“Everyone was being polite to each other. There was no fighting amongst the passengers,” Aaran Gedhu, who was aboard that fateful flight, told CNN of the “very uncomfortable experience.”

“Obviously, the plane was in an unsanitary state. So they had to get external cleaners out from the airport to clean it,” they continued. “So that’s when the stairs reconnected, and the cleaners came on to deep clean the flooring.”

So take it from this tale of aviation woe — never, ever eat Chipotle before takeoff.
