You’ve gotta cut the power before you cut the power lines.
If you play with electricity, you’re going to get zapped. This is a lesson that you’re bound to learn at some point in your life, whether that’s as a child sticking a fork in an outlet, or as an adult trying to move an electric oven (speaking from experience with the latter).
When working with electricity, it’s best to try your best to *not* actually be exposed to any actual current. This is done by cutting all possible current prior to you working on whatever it is you’re going to be working on that has power.
Or, if you’re this man, you could just say “screw it” and take some metal tools to a live wire. Not a great plan!
