Some people are just easy marks. It could be that they look funny, smell bad, or straight up have the funniest name you've ever heard. And this week, the first female majority in the history of Missouri’s Supreme Court was upstaged by the name of the woman appointed to the court, 47-year-old, Ginger Gooch.

Yes, we taint joking, that's her given name and presumably the same name she has on her license, and the same name she signs thank-you cards with and the same that the innocent and guilt alike must face to have their sentences read to them, all without smirking.
Ginger Gooch (lol) was appointed to the court by Missouri Gov. Mike Parson who spoke highly of her calling her a "loving mother, dedicated wife, and proud woman of faith." And with a name like that, you'd assume she would have lost her faith, but the Gooch has kept it, even after her husband Chad Munsey was confused but fine when she didn't formally take his own name after they married. Ginger Munsey isn't as funny and she knows that.

In an interview from 2008, Gooch talks at length about her aspirations as a lawyer, her love of golf, and the black lab she and her husband share along with a Shih Tzu.
However, this historic day was overshadowed by trolls on the internet making Gooch jokes and saying things like; "White people loved to be called 'Ginger Gooch'" and "You have been sentenced to death by ginger gooch."

We would never do that as being named Ginger Gooch is punishment enough and life can be tough enough and we wouldn't want to make fun of someone with such a terribly hilarious name.
