Looking for the perfect haircut to impress your pal living in a pineapple under the sea? Look no further than “The Squidward” the Nickelodeon-inspired haircut terrorizing hairstylists of Twitter.


Nicknamed after the SpongeBob SquarePants character, the premise behind the cut is simple. Emulating the “business in the front, party in the back” elements of a mullet, The Squidward is a whole lot more nautical, layering a cropped bob above a ‘60s flip, creating a look that screams cartoon squid.



“As if Cousin It and Squidward were the models,” wrote @shnozzmoana.


“I don’t know how to explain it but she looks like Squidward to me,” added@gehrenbergdfs. 


Despite garnering a whole lot of comparisons to Bikini Bottom’s favorite clarinet-toting Krusty Krab cashier — and a few to Carol Brady from The Brady Bunch — the style was likened to several less wholesome comparisons, namely, massive p---- heads.
