Though Sir Mix-a-Lot’s anaconda may not want none unless you got buns, hun, we’ve recently decided that our anaconda don’t … period, especially after watching this viral video detailing just how large and scary these reptiles can be.

A clip shared to r/Damnthatsinteresting on Friday morning proved that anacondas aren’t merely ‘90s rap euphemisms or the antagonists of 2006 action-horror films, showing a jaw-droppingly — or jaw-unhinging-ly — large snake with what appears to be a full belly attempting to wreak havoc on a village in India.

While we may not have many details on the snake’s specs, it is certifiably huge —  so much so that even our eBaum’s World overlord, who typically vetos snake content unless it has a human between its jaws, expressed surprise at the anaconda’s size.

“That’s a big snake,” he said while viewing the viral video.

But fortunately for our boss — and for all of us ophidiophobics out there — the snake appeared to be tethered to a wooden pole … at least for now.  To quote Redditor u/Electronic_Worry5571, “Where’s Ice Cube when you need him?”
