Though Shakira’s allegedly unfaithful ex, footballer/unofficial Twingo spokesperson Gerard Piqué, famously left the iconic songstress with his mom as a neighbor, it seems the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer still isn’t above shading her former MIL.

Shortly after the musician’s record-smashing diss track, the concisely titled "Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53,” it seems the Colombian-born artist managed to make good use of her proximity to her ex’s family, allegedly placing a witch mannequin on the balcony of her Barcelona home while blasting the song toward her one-time mother-in-law Montserrat Bernabeu’s adjacent abode.

In fairness, these rumors have yet to be verified, but Shakira’s witch has already sent tensions brewing (if, of course, that’s what really happened). Shortly after these stories began brewing (pun unavoidable) on social media, Spanish TV program, Más Vale Tarde, claimed that Bernabeu asked the singer’s team to turn off the song, a request that evidently went ignored as the track continued on a loop. Which, cold.

The move comes days after the song, which slammed her purportedly cheating ex as a “rookie” who traded “a Ferrari for a Twingo” after allegedly cheating on her with his new girlfriend, 23-year-old Clara Chia Marti, set a series of streaming records on YouTube. During its first day on the site, the video garnered upwards of 63 million views, making it the most-watched Latin song within 24 hours.

Prior to calling it quits last summer, Shakira and Piqué were together for 11 years. They shared two children — but no jars of strawberry jam
