Despite all their political differences — except for like, their shared loves of unfettered capitalism and American nationalism — President Joe Biden recently proved he has more in common with his predecessor Donald Trump than meets the eye, namely, the fact that he too, evidently eats like a five-year-old.
In what may be the strangest aesthetic post since Julia Fox’s viral apartment tour, 46 took to Twitter this week with a glimpse at his process of preparing for his upcoming State of the Union address as well as his *extremely* 80-year-old man breakfast of choice, consisting of cookies and coffee.
“Getting ready,” Biden captioned the snap, featuring an open binder with his speech written out in an approximately 100-point font, what appears to be a cup of joe (quiet, perverts), and a plate of two cookies — one of which seemed to have a bite missing.

Because as any American knows, nothing says “the state of our union is just fine!” like eating dessert well before 11 am.
Alongside dunking on the giant instruction penned into his intro — “my fellow Americans [PAUSE]” is always one hell of a way to kick off any address — Twitter users quickly noted his, erm, unusual choice of breakfast, giving him relevant internet advice, questioning their nutritional value and dunking on their apparent mid-ness.
Mr. President - you might want to disable your cookies.

I wonder if those are High-Fiber Cookies.

Mr. Biden, if you’re eating cookies at 10:30 am, might we suggest revising the food pyramid, because we too, would like to eat dessert for breakfast.
