There’s a guy on TikTok who is smashing toilets together in his free time. And you thought your hobbies were weird.
TikToker @birikol23 is a guy with a garage and, apparently, a lot of bathroom items that aren’t in use anymore. Rather than sell them or scrap them, he’s developed a whole new way to deal with unneeded ceramics — and it involves the beauty of inertia.

In one of his most viral videos, he shows two toilets swinging in parallel, each slowly draining liquid as they swing. Eventually, one of the toilets clips the other, causing it to shatter.
The TikToker later repeated the experiment (?) with a sink and a toilet:

And a bathtub and a toilet:

And, why not, two TVs:

Despite doing this seemingly hundreds of times, @birikol23 seems to be troubled by his desire to smash things together. As the items swing, he frequently moans the words “Oh no,” which I’m going to take as a marker of his hesitation and not an indication that this is a weird fetish thing.
I have so many questions: Why does this man want to destroy these things? More importantly, where does he live that allows him to smash all of this stuff without his neighbors complaining?
So does that toilet advance in the arena trials until we eventually end up with the strongest toilet?

No matter where or why, the videos are undoubtedly mesmerizing — and it opens up the potential for an incredible business opportunity. Add a little gambling to the mix, and toilet swinging may very well be one of the many new sports to take the internet by storm.
