Evolution is working in reverse.

Humanity is truly going back to dumber, simpler times and the internet is proof. People are complaining about their scales “randomly exploding,” accidentally posting memes of hamsters doing drugs, liking posts from World War One veterans, and even claiming the actor Chris Pine is an erotica author named Chuck Tingle.

Some of this feels genuinely surreal, confusing, and worrying but most of all, just purely stupid.
