40 Unflattering Depictions of What Famous Historical Figures Actually Looked Like
Many an ugly emperor has commissioned a beautiful idealized statue of themselves so that future generations will see them as the handsome hunk they really weren’t. Thankfully, these lying historical figures are being thwarted by the advance of modern day science.
Looking at these facial reconstructions of famous people from history, it’s clear to see why they didn’t take many pictures of themselves (besides cameras not being invented yet). Seriously, how were these uggos the celebrities of their time periods? Famous people are supposed to be stunningly attractive, or at least not look like they spent too long in the bathtub and pruned up.
I think if we sent Sabrina Carpenter back to medieval times through a portal, it might explode some peasants’ brains. Also music would probably be really interesting now.
