No matter how smart someone may think they are, no matter how many fancy degrees and titles they may acquire through life, brain fart moments can happen to anyone. I've had plenty of days where I was so intensely focused on something that I didn't even notice something was off with me until someone else let me know, "Hey man, you've got like 8 sheets of TP stuck to your shoe and trailing behind you with every step."

The point is that embarrassing moments can happen to any of us, so the best thing you can do when it happens is to just own it the way these folks did.
