Weta Workshop played a pivotal role in bringing the world of The Lord of the Rings to Life, particularly through their incredible miniatures. 

These detailed, handcrafted models were essential for creating the vast, fantastical settings and epic battles. From the towering architecture of Minas Tirith to the intricate design of the One Ring, the miniatures were a blend of big and tiny, earning the nickname “bigatures.” 

The goal was for these creations to be small enough to actually handcraft and create, while being big enough for intricate detail.
