23 Historic Moments That Changed the Internet
The internet is still relatively new in terms of age, but it definitely feels like it's been around forever.
On April 30th, 1993 the first World Wide Web browser was officially launched and made available to the public. That makes the internet about 29 years old. And in that time we've experienced ups and downs. Trends, apps, sites. Some have been around for a long time, others left way too soon (RIP Vine and Harambe.)
This sentence makes no sense but some days the first 30 years of the internet feels like 100 years. It's hard to remember what life was like before the interwebs. So we thought it would be appropriate to collect some of the most iconic moments that changed the internet forever.
From social media, to YouTube, to (shameless plug) eBaum's World. We wouldn't be where we are today if not for these historic moments. Enjoy this trip down memory lane.
