Jessica "SASS Kicker" Kirkham is a Single Action Shooting Sports champion of the highest caliber -- watch her putting her sick skills on display and make sure never to cross her! She's been honing her skills since of the age of 12 and her favorite weapon is, unsurprisingly, the rifle.
Cowboy action shooting, often referred to as western action shooting, single action shooting, cowboy 3-gun, or western 3-gun, is a competitive shooting sport that started in Southern California at the Coto de Caza Shooting Range in Orange County, California, in the early 1980s. Cowboy action shooting is now practiced widely and is sanctioned by numerous groups.
The competition consists of numerous distinct shooting scenarios called "stages." There are usually ten revolver rounds (shooters commonly carry two single-action revolvers), nine or ten rifle rounds, and two to eight shotgun rounds needed for each stage. Usually, targets are steel plates that ring when struck. Reactive targets like clay birds or steel knockout plates are occasionally utilized.
