Detroit Flooded, Then Froze Over

Well, that isn’t good.
On Monday, February 17th, a 54-inch water main broke in Detroit. City officials said that it was the worst water main break they had ever seen — and to make matters worse, freezing temperatures meant that the water flooding the streets didn’t stay water for long.
As these videos show, the water quickly froze, submerging houses and cars in several feet of ice.
