The cops don’t really care if you’re “in the middle of an order.”

It’s not great being a DoorDash driver. While the occasional driver can earn a couple extra dollars, the profits of the average DoorDash driver are pretty piss-poor. In fact, one 2022 study estimated that DoorDash drivers profit just $1.23 per hour. Not great!

If you want to get those numbers up, you’re going to have to complete a lot of orders. In the process of doing that, you might run into another car — and, if you’re this woman, freak the fuck out about it.
