For some reason, anytime a British person opens their mouth, it's either instant comedy or complete cringe. Thankfully, this case is the latter.

In the video, a middle-aged chap is outrunning a police officer, who is huffing and puffing just to keep up. The guy runs down a pier, seemingly trapping himself between the cop and the water.

But in a brilliant twist of events, the guy pulls the cop down into the water and sprints off, never to be found. It's kind of a jerk move but you gotta respect anyone who can swerve on a cop this hard.

This cop would have been better off just staying in the water and swimming back to the station to avoid the shame of the hecklers standing by.
