Dude Showing Off His Cybertruck’s Self-Driving Capability Accidentally Smashes Into Coworker’s Car
Imagine trying to prove that your car’s not a deathtrap, then accidentally destroying someone else’s car in the process.
It’s safe to say that full self-driving, regardless of which company is promoting it, just isn’t ready for the road. Whether your car is made by a company using LIDAR scanners, or Tesla (who insist on using cameras, for some reason), there are still just too many variables on the road for one to be able to simply hit a button and expect their car to get them from point A to point B.
But that doesn’t stop people from trying!
Despite pretty much every auto manufacturer telling drivers that they need to monitor their car while it’s in self-driving mode, people just can’t seem to do that. As a result, you get multiple videos of people nearly killing themselves by trusting their self-driving mode — or, in this case, a video of someone just ruining their coworker’s day.
