Dad Attacks Cops with Excavator to Save Son from Arrest

It's a bold strategy Cotton, let's see if it works out for him.

After an alleged altercation with a neighbor, State Police in Vermont were called to arrest 24-year-old Brandon Tallman.

As they were attempting to place Tallman in handcuffs, his mother charged the two officers. As if that weren't bad enough, Tallman's father began running an excavator that was parked nearby, wildly swinging the bucket of the machine toward the direction of the officers and their vehicle.

I'll let you go back and read that again, as it may take a second to process. The father, in an attempt to rescue his son from the police...began erratically swinging the arm and bucket of a massive piece of construction machinery. In the general direction of the cops, nonetheless.

What in the New England redneck is going on here? All three (mother, father, and son) were eventually detained. The mom was given a citation for her involvement.
