Well, that couldn’t have gone much worse.

Running from the cops is a natural human instinct. I get it — though we all know that we *shouldn’t* do it, many of us would be lying if we said we didn’t try to hightail it out of a party after it was broken up by the fuzz. Plus, given the state of the cops in this country, you’ve got a strong chance of winning!

However, you really shouldn’t do it. First, because they might shoot you; second, because they can up your charges if you’re caught; and third, you might get hit by a car and have to walk tail between your legs back to your arresting officer, as is what appears to be the case here.
