In the U.S., we still send a majority of our commodities via road. This requires people to drive trucks — and not only drive them, but drive them for hours and hours at a time. A truck driver in the U.S. can spend up to 14 hours on the road in one go, and while there are legal protections for truck drivers, employers can put pressure on their drivers to ignore them in order to meet unrealistic targets.

In case you couldn’t tell by that whole spiel, truckers spend a lot of time in their vehicles, and if you’re going to do that, you need some entertainment — especially if your next rest-stop shower hand job is still a few hours away.
