Here’s What It’s Like to Be Under a Firefighter’s Water Drop

As the fires rage on in California, firefighters are doing everything they can to contain the blaze.
There are many methods that firefighters use to do this. One method involves sucking up a bunch of water into a plane, then dropping it off over the flames, usually dyeing it red beforehand so they can see exactly where it’s dropping.
While there are plenty of videos of people doing this from above, there aren’t too many showing what it’s like being down below as they drop the water. And so, here’s both: one angle from above, and one angle from the area being sprayed.
