Hockey is a pretty brutal sport. It’s the only non-fighting sport where punching your opponent in the head is, if not accepted, at least tolerated.

Still, if you’re going to be violent during the game, you have to make sure your aggression is directed at the right people. Throwing a jab at someone on the other team might put you in the box, but doing what this guy did to the ref will, as you can see, result in your lasting suspension.
