Don’t buy your power banks off of Temu.
Batteries can be pretty fickle, as manufacturers keep having to learn over and over again. As more devices have switched to using solely rechargeable batteries, many companies have discovered that it’s difficult to stop batteries from just randomly blowing up.
In general, many manufacturers will have systems put in place to make sure that there are a few fail-safes to ensure your battery isn’t at risk of randomly going kaboom. That said, if you get something cheap enough, or just something poorly made, you run the risk of having this happen:
