Putting a new engine in a car is expensive work.

But then again, some cars really need it. If your engine dies, what’s the more wallet-friendly or environmentally-friendly decision — getting a whole new car, or just swapping out the engine? And what if instead of a new engine, all you have lying around is 16 chainsaws?

Well, these mad lads in Russia decided to find out. Loading everything into an old Lada, they successfully converted the car to a V16 engine — if by V16 you mean “very loud chainsaws (16).”
