Giant Siberian Tiger Establishes Dominance Without Lifting a Claw
All this big ol' boy needs to establish his absolute dominance immediately is his intimidating size. If you look closely, you'll see one of the other tigers literally sh*t themselves. Whether that's just weird timing or not, it's an important detail. It is a shame, however, that such majestic beings are locked inside such a crappy-looking enclosure -- whatever zoo or "sanctuary" this is could certainly try a little harder to give the cats a more suitable environment.
In the clip we see an absolutely immense Siberian tiger -- identifiable by the larger bodies and shorter legs relative to the Bengal tiger -- being let into an enclosure with other cats. The smaller, perhaps juvenile tigers quickly decide they don't want to be part of the welcoming party and bounce, leaving what were the bigger of the cats there to stage something of a meet-and-greet.
The meeting is rather short-lived, however, as the rest of the cats immediately cower, deciding against challenging the newcomer and new-boss-in-town. Aside from just the spectacle of utter dominance on display, it's amazing to see that even among creatures of such power and lethality there is a wide spectrum of physicality that separates them -- just like us.
