One would-be robber recently discovered that Hell hath no fury like a 7-Eleven clerk scorned, getting an ass whooping of a lifetime after attempting to steal several cartons of cigarettes from a Stockton, California convenience store.

Though for a moment, it appeared as though the thief just might get away with his plot of sweeping packets of smokes off of the shelves and into a giant garbage bin —“ain’t nothing you can do man until the police come in,” said the cameraman — two workers opted to take on the robber themselves.

As he headed towards the exit, his trash can of cigarettes in tow, one employee decided enough was enough, grabbing the thief by the arm and throwing him to the ground.

Though the perp was already screaming in pain, these cries only intensified after another worker decided to get in on the fun, repeatedly beating the robber with a giant wooden stick.

This spectacular smackdown evidently pushed the thief to a very hasty change of heart — “Okay, okay!” he yelled — yet his decision to backtrack came all too late.

“That’s called whooping your ass,” the cameraman exclaimed.

So take it from this wannabe burglar — don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time … on the 7-Eleven floor.
