Watch a Monk Try to Play Super Mario Without Killing Anyone
Let’s get this guy to play GTA, huh?
While it’s not exactly the most violent game, there’s a lot of killing that needs to happen to progress in any Mario level. Whether it’s bopping Goombas on the head or flinging Bowser into a bomb, it’s darn near impossible to land on the flagpole or collect the star without saying goodbye to a few enemies along the way.
And yet, that’s exactly what this monk is trying to do. While this is just a translated snipper, the whole video is worth watching, even with the auto-translated subtitles.
To summarize, it’s really, really hard to finish the level without killing anyone — and when he inevitably does, he offers a prayer for their demise.
