Dunking Aluminum Can in Drain Cleaner Reveals Plastic Bag Inside
This is one of those everyday hidden in plain sight secrets that's pretty satisfying to watch and really demonstrates how much plastic is in almost everything nowadays.
By sanding down the outside of a regular aluminum can, then dunking the thing in drain cleaner, this guy reveals a thin plastic lining hiding inside the can, somehow beneath the metal exterior.
Maybe you already knew about this but it seems pretty wild that aluminum cans have plastic bags lurking inside them. Also, why? Isn't the aluminum enough to hold in a couple ounces of orange soda?
Seeing something like this may make you wonder just how many other weird secrets are hiding in plain sight. Like, is the orange juice container lined with steel? Or are potato chip bags filled with little elves propping it up from the inside to make it look full?
