She’s being charged with attempted murder.

Every relationship is going to have disagreements. Sometimes, you can resolve them; other times, you can’t, and you break up. How sad. That said, things can always get worse. For example, your girlfriend can try to kill you by locking you in a storage locker. Sounds pretty bad to me!

According to ABC News, a North Carolina woman named Robin Deaton, 52, is alleged to have locked her boyfriend in a storage unit for several days without food or water.  The boyfriend, whose 911 call is audible below, claims that Deaton tricked him into entering the unit before locking him inside, reportedly saying, “This is what you get!” (Piece of advice: not a good thing to hear in any relationship!).

After several days in total darkness, he managed to find his phone and call 911, telling dispatchers that he couldn’t breathe and hadn’t eaten or drunk anything the entire time he was inside. Eventually, he was rescued, and Deaton was arrested after a police manhunt. She’s currently in custody and has been charged with kidnapping and attempted murder.
